Payal teaches both in-person 그리고 virtual Meditation classes and offers integrated Reiki treatments; she believes that both are a part of a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Her meditation training includes The Power of Awareness Mindfulness Training with Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield (The Awareness Training Institute in association with The Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley). She is also a Reiki Master and Usui Reiki Ryoho Level II Attunement initiated by Ssanyu Birigwa, M.S., Narrative Medicine, Bone Healer, Reiki Shamanic Master/Teacher. Payal’s first-degree in Reiki was initiated by Pamela Miles.

Reiki Restore Sound Session is an integrated healing journey, incorporating Reiki, Restorative Yoga posturing, Sound Healing, Aromatherapy and Crystal Healing. Sessions are curated to the individual needs of the client. Together, let’s bring your body, mind and spirit back into balance, ease and abundance.

Reiki comes from the Japanese word (rei) which means “universal life” and (ki) which means “energy,” and focuses on overall emotional and physical well-being. Reiki practitioners are versed in this ancient Japanese technique, and use “hands-on healing” through which universal energy is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient.

Payal S. Parekh is a New York-based art advisor, yoga teacher, and reiki master dedicated to wellness and diverse art perspectives.

A 500-hour nationally certified yoga teacher, she believes in the power of movement and meditation for physical and mental health. Her self-care deck, Blessed Rest by Payal, offers tools for reflection and stress relief. She has led meditation sessions at Christie’s, David Zwirner, The Armory Show, Perrotin, and The Baltimore Museum of Art.

She has served on the board of the American Visionary Art Museum and is a member of the Skowhegan Council and FCA Friends in New York.

Founder of Payal Arts International (2008), she advises artists and collectors. Payal holds degrees in Art History (Mount Holyoke) and Contemporary Art (Sotheby’s Institute) and was raised in Baltimore, Maryland.
