Shamanic Healing Session

Overview

Healing sessions, lasting 90 minutes, begin with meditation to set intentions and invoke spirits. After discussing the client’s needs and history, the practitioner acts as a conduit for healing spirits. Clients typically rest on a massage table while the practitioner enters a meditative state using rattles or drums. Natural elements may be incorporated. Reactions vary from energy sensations to visions or sleep. Post-session, experiences are shared, and integration is discussed. Multiple sessions are usually necessary for complete healing.

Kathleen Rude, an environmental activist since childhood, holds degrees in Wildlife Ecology and Natural Resources. Initially an environmental writer, she transitioned to shamanic practice and teaching. Mentored by Joanna Macy, she facilitates The Work That Reconnects workshops. Kathleen authored “The Redemption of Red Fire Woman” and serves on the Nuclear Energy Information Service board. She enjoys nature, singing, and her German Shepherd.
